Our newest nursery is set within the stunning and spacious grounds of Elmdon House, London Road (Guildford). At Christopher Robin, London Road we offer high quality care and Montessori education in an environment that’s safe, stimulating and full of fun.
Although Christopher Robin London Road opened in 2015, Nursery Manager Sophia and a number of the staff have been working with Christopher Robin for many more years, having built an enviable reputation for delivering exceptional care at Christopher Robin Merrow. When Christopher Robin Merrow closed its doors in 2015 (due to lease expiration) the staff and children from Merrow transferred to our lovely new building at London Road. Our staff team continue to deliver exceptional care and Montessori education in their new premises.
Meet The Team
Nursery Manager Sophia joined Christopher Robin Day Nurseries in July 2001. She progressed to become Nursery Manager at Merrow in March 2010. In July 2015 she led the staff team into their new setting at London Road.
Sophia holds an NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education, a Certificate in Montessori Pedagogy and Leadership and Management - self evaluation for early years settings (level 4). She is trained in Paediatric First Aid, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Manual Handling, Safeguarding Children and Health & Hygiene.
