Nursery Manager
Sophia
Nursery Manager Sophia joined Christopher Robin Day Nurseries in July 2001. She became Nursery Manager at our Merrow nursery in March 2010 and has led our London Road, Guildford nursery since it opened in 2015, providing continuity and strong leadership for families and staff.
Sophia holds an NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education, along with a Certificate in Montessori Pedagogy and a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management (self-evaluation for early years settings). She has also completed a TAQA (Training, Assessment, Quality Assurance) course and is trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Manual Handling, and Health and Hygiene.
Deputy Manager
Lucia
Lucia joined Christopher Robin in October 2021 and became Deputy Manager in November 2023.
She holds a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Practice (Early Years Educator).
Lucia is trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, Food Safety and Hygiene, Health and Safety, and Fire Awareness, and completed the ‘Exploring Montessori’ workshop in 2024, further developing her understanding of Montessori principles.
